What happens to the connection to Vision, if the USER changes the ADMIN PASSWORD of the NVR?
If the user changes the password of NVR, NVR will show offline, the user needs to reconnect NVR by entering a new password on Vision, and it will take a while for NVR to get back online. -
I can view camera live streaming on the Turing Vision platform, but did not receive any people or vehicle alerts. I have followed the guidelines and set everything correctly.
It could possibly caused by two reasons:
1) Time sync issue between Turing NVR, Bridge and 3rd party camera, make sure those three have the same time setting.
2) 3rd party cameras use improper encoding settings, for instance, still use 4K as mainstream resolution, need to adjust camera resolution down to 4MP/5MP or lower. Make sure no other existing NVR is changing this setting. -
If the 3rd party camera has the option for human / vehicle in vca settings, and I only choose human. Will I still receive vehicle alerts?
It is possible, Turing Vision receives ONVIF Intrusion events from the camera and does secondary processing on the events, so technically on Turing Vision, you will see both people and vehicle alerts if you set up rules for both. -
Can motion and intrusion be enabled at the same time?
Technically YES, but you might receive duplicate alerts for the same event, so it is not recommended to turn on both for alert purposes. -
Why can’t I apply for a license to a 3rd party camera?
Some 3rd party cameras are not in Turing’s compatibility list, please reach out to Turing Tech support to help verify the model and manually enable license after verification. -
What if my Legacy camera is down and the license is not expired, what shall I do with my license?
We support transfer licenses from one camera to another, but in order to do that, before disconnecting the broken camera, please record the camera's serial number so our support team can find its licenses and transfer it to the new camera.

(General Release) Guardian AI – General License
Guardian AI – General License is a subscription license that unlocks Turing’s LLM-powered Agentic AI platform for any site or customer.
It enables users to:
- Search video with natural language – Instantly find any moment by typing everyday questions, across all connected cameras.
- Receive AI-driven insights – (Coming Soon) Automatically summarize events and trends to support faster decision-making.
- Work faster & smarter – Transform investigations from hours of manual video review to seconds of clear, actionable answers.
The General License is available in flexible terms (1, 3, 5, 10 years) and can be purchased directly through the Turing Partner Portal for easy activation.
Note: Direct upgrades from CORE AI to Guardian AI are not supported in the current release; users must contact the Turing support team for assistance. However, new cameras without an existing license can be activated by purchasing and applying a Guardian AI – General License.

Users can now add a “Note” field when creating a custom vehicle watch list, allowing them to specify the purpose or reason for the list.

When clicking the event bar during playback, retrieval now starts 5 seconds before the actual event.

Site creation now allows manual input of latitude/longitude and street name, which is helpful where addresses may be unavailable.

(General Release) Turing License Subscription Function
The license subscription function is now live. Once enabled and set up by the dealer, customers can subscribe to licenses on their own.
- Located in Settings → Camera Settings, next to the “Add Camera” button.
- Displays dealer information and license pricing on “Subscribe Now”.
- Allows a mixture of license types to be selected at the same time.
- Payment method can be updated in Settings → Plan & Payment for future subscriptions.

Optimizations
- Improved Webhook error handling: the system now displays errors and automatically disables Webhooks if too many errors occur within a specific period.
- Optimized P2P streaming switch logic to prevent black screens during streaming transitions.
- Streamlined license request recipient list: dealer administrators and corresponding technicians will now receive license requests.
- EdgePlus Recording Retention Update: SD recordings are now retained for 7 days to optimize onboard SD card storage, effectively doubling overall retention time. HD recording retention remains unchanged, and playback now always defaults to HD quality.

- Resolved an issue where the player’s original size ratio was not consistently applied to all video and snapshot previews.

(General Release) Guardian AI – General License Promotion
For a limited time, all Turing customers with an active CORE AI license for any camera between September 15th and October 15th will automatically receive a 30-day free trial of the Guardian AI – General License. This offers a chance to experience the new generation of “Search as you speak” functionality.

(General Release) License Subscription
This function allows dealers to control subscription availability and pricing easily for all individual customers. Revenue share is straightforward, and an optional logo display strengthens the dealer’s brand visibility.
- Enablement pop-up for turning the function on/off.
- Function on/off switch, Stripe setup, and logo upload.
- Turing uses Stripe to share revenue automatically. Turing will pay Stripe’s processing fee during license sales so partners receive the payment difference in full.
- Individual customer price display and settings: partners can choose which license types to display and adjust prices. Turing always takes a fixed price from each license.
- Group pricing policy is available. Note: changing an individual customer’s price removes them from the group.
- Partners can track revenue and subscription history easily.
