Prepare the Axis Camera

Before beginning the Axis integration, ensure the hardware is ready:

SD Card Required

An SD card must be installed in the Axis camera for Turing Direct-to-Cloud operation.

Update Firmware

Update the camera to the LTS Track (Axis OS 11.11 or higher). This is required for compatibility.

Time Sync (Important)

Go to System > Date and Time and set the camera to use an NTP server (e.g., pool.ntp.org).

⚠ Inaccurate time will cause the secure cloud handshake to fail. Always verify NTP sync before proceeding.
